Burundi: The Human Rights Council should further extend the Special Rapporteur’s mandate

As human rights violations continue to be committed in Burundi amid widespread impunity, and as the country is in the midst of an electoral cycle that will culminate in the 2027 presidential election, the EurAc network and 39 other CSOs are calling on the United Nations Human Rights Council to maintain its monitoring of the situation in the country by renewing the Special Rapporteur’s mandate.
