Save the People International (SAPI)

Save the People International (SAPI) is a Swiss non-governmental organisation which aims to promote the well-being of people in targeted communities suffering from extreme poverty and injustice, with a particular focus on widows and orphans. The aim is to create a better future at both the individual and communal level by helping people acquire the skills and resources to overcome poverty and achieve better livelihoods. The work done by SAPI takes the form of charitable assistance, education, protection, health care and socio-economic reintegration activities, and is partly done through supporting widow’s and orphan’s organizations in promoting their leadership, their rights, their knowledges and resources in peaceful and creative ways.

SAPI is deeply committed to defending the rights of children and adolescents at risk of social exclusion, especially children in conflict with the law and children at risk of statelessness and violence, and works to improve their welfare by providing them with greater development potential through innovative and sustainable projects in the areas of education, health, resilience and food security.
